Our team has previously sold companies, published machine learning research, helped build Dropbox as Chief of Staff, and hails from MIT, Google, Airbnb, McKinsey, etc.

About the role:

As Head of Business, you’ll be building our business team from the ground up. You’ll act as a GM for our core business, working closely with our co-founders to create and manage high-performance business functions: supply operations, finance, analytics, and ultimately sales, customer success, marketing, etc.

We’re growing our customer base significantly this year, and you will ensure that we can scale our business functions to successfully meet customer expectations and growing demand. This means wearing many hats — from customer success to finance — and your role will constantly evolve to tackle any new business challenges we face.

  • You’re a world-class problem-solver: What we’re building has never been done before, which means you’ll encounter new challenges at every turn, so it’s critical that you can reliably solve problems and overcome non-trivial obstacles.
  • You’re skilled at building and optimizing systems: You’ll be responsible for designing, evaluating, and optimizing various org structures and processes to meet the demands of the business as it scales. Experience working with data and conducting research is a must here, as you’ll often have to build from the ground up and analyze data yourself to make good decisions.
  • You’re a caring people leader: You’ll be leading a team of professionals with a wide range of experience, expertise, and responsibilities, so it is important that you can keep the team aligned, motivated, and effective.   • You’re not afraid to get your hands dirty: This is a startup and one that values “getting $#!% done”, so be ready to dive into the weeds and jump into action when duty calls.


  • Prior experience at a company building enterprise software
  • Prior experience in business operations at a startup or management consulting
  • Prior experience managing a team
  • Working knowledge of SQL
